|QUALITY IMPROVEMENT MANAGER|
|UBMD Internal Medicine is seeking a full-time Quality Improvement Manager (QIM) to develop, implement, coordinate and monitor quality improvement processes and policies/procedures. The QIM will be responsible for meeting and achieving the quality metrics and goals through provider communication and education on metrics and internal quality reports received and generated in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Will ensure maximization of quality and risk-share incentives available from hospital partners, as well as tracking performance amongst providers. Will serve as the liaison between hospital partners, medical practice and community resources. The QIM will conduct research for other added-value incentive dollars and resources, as well as identify and address concerns that may impact receipt of incentive dollars. Licensed NYS Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred. Minimum of Licensed NYS Registered Nurse required. Minimum of 5-7 years of hospital-based clinical experience, as well as outpatient experience. Experience in quality improvement and/or utilization review required. Auditing experience required. Excellent communication skills required, as well as creative and persistent problem-solving skills. Must possess valid NYS driver’s license that meets company driving standards.|
