UBMD Internal Medicine is one of 18 medical practices in the UBMD Physicians’ Group.  Our physicians are internists first, certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine to treat adult patients.  Our specialists are certified in the primary sub-specialties associated with Internal Medicine, specifically:

SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/RESIDENCY PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR
Senior Administrative Assistant/Residency Program Administrator (SAA/RPA) needed to support the Division Chief of Adult Medicine & Pediatrics (MedPeds), as well as the coordination of the residency program for the MedPeds division.  Responsibilities include coordination of meetings, maintaining the division’s website including the physicians’ electronic CV’s, maintaining separate residency website and schedules, coordinating Grand Rounds and the annual faculty development conference, assisting with recruitment of new faculty as it relates to travel arrangements/itinerary and coordinating resident modules and orientation.  Bachelor’s degree in health care, education or project management preferred.  Associate’s degree and 5 years’ experience may be substituted or 10 years’ experience with no degree.  Minimum of 2-3 years’ administrative support experience, preferably in an education or health care setting.  Must demonstrative initiative, as well as excellent organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills.
 
REGISTERED NURSE - TRIAGE (Williamsville)
Full time Registered Nurse for triage department for high-volume primary care and specialty outpatient clinic in Williamsville.  Principal responsibilities include managing prescription refill requests, obtaining medication prior approvals, sick call and walk-in triage.  Will also work with physicians on communicating lab results and treatment plans.  Requires excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task in a busy environment.  Must be currently licensed in NYS as a Registered Nurse.  EMR experience preferred.  Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in triage preferred.

Full-time Medical Assistant needed for growing physician practice.  One MA to be located at specialty clinic in downtown Buffalo (pediatric experience preferred).  One MA needed for primary care clinic in Williamsville (experience in PFT's preferred).  Minimum 2 years' clinical experience required. RN CARE COORDINATOR (Williamsville)
Full time RN Care Coordinator needed for busy Williamsville clinic.  Will be responsible for providing a high level of care to patients including patient outreach, education and wellness coaching.  Will assess and identify patient's readiness and ability to change; identifying their coaching, support and educational needs and determining relevant community and/or health care resources.  Will develop interventions and set goals for behavioral modification within the scope of nursing practice, as well as conduct health and wellness coaching sessions with patients.  Will act as a liaison between physician practices, facilities and outside entities to resolve continuum of care issues related to patient care.  Will analyze clinical data generated from clinical performance reporting system and utilize data for tracking and care coordination purposes.  NYS licensed RN required, BSN preferred.  Minimum of 3-4 years' experience as an RN.  Experience with patient education and goal setting preferred.  Data analysis experience preferred.  Excellent communication skills required.  Must be patient-service oriented and proficient in multi-tasking, prioritization and organizational skills, as well as have a high attention to detail.
