UBMD Internal Medicine is one of 18 medical practices in the UBMD Physicians’ Group. Our physicians are internists first, certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine to treat adult patients. Our specialists are certified in the primary sub-specialties associated with Internal Medicine, specifically:

Full Time position available at our Conventus location. Monday-Friday schedule, weekends and holidays off!  Duties include and are not limited to greeting patients, check in/out, verify insurances, scheduling appointments, daily copay reports/collect copays, phone calls, general customer service. Ideal candidate must have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. 2-3 years experience in medical office required, EMR and healthenet experience required, general office skills (faxing, copying, etc.) required.  PAID PARKING.


FT LPN Clinical Team Lead (CTL) at busy Primary Care and Multi-specialty outpatient practice located in downtown Buffalo.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling clinical staff, oversight of clinic workflow, exam room assignments and ensuring supplies are adequately stocked.  Will function as a working leader to assist with daily clinical needs.  Maintains adequate daily vaccine and medication inventory.  Acts as the liaison between providers and clinical staff.  Responds to patient complaints regarding quality of service concerns and follows up as necessary.  Graduate from accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program required.  Associate's degree preferred.  Active NYS LPN license required.  Minimum of 1-2 years previous nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient setting.  Team lead/supervisory experience required.  Experience with staff scheduling strongly preferred.  Knowledge of PCMH preferred.  Experience with monitoring quality initiatives preferred.  Experience in chronic disease management/chronic care helpful.  Excellent communication and customer service skills required.  Must have strong initiative and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  PAID PARKING.


FT LPN Clinical Supervisor (CS) needed for multi-specialty outpatient clinic in Williamsville.  Will coordinate daily workflow and ensure that all medical services are provided efficiently by maintaining excellent patient care and customer service within the clinic.  The CS is a working supervisor and is responsible for LPN duties as well as daily oversight of clinical staff and workflows.  CS will have an understanding of all aspects of an outpatient practice which includes, but is not limited to, ordering of clinical supplies, working with vendors, understanding prior authorizations, conducting staff meeting and monitoring daily activities.  The CS will training staff on existing and new workflows within the clinic, and work as a liaison between staff and providers in areas that require process improvement.  Must be a graduate from an accredited LPN program.  Associate's degree preferred, currently licensed in NYS as an LPN.  Minimum of 2-3 years previous nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting.  Supervisory and staff scheduling experience required.  EMR experience required, prior authorization experience preferred.  Excellent customer service, initiative and multi-tasking skills required.


FT Patient Services Representative (PSR) needed for busy primary care and specialty practice in Williamsville.  PSR will answer incoming calls in a professional/courteous manner, distribute calls to appropriate clinics or handle independently.  PSR must have above average customer service and communication skills.  Minimum 2-3 years' customer service experience required preferably in a call center and/or health care setting.  Candidates who are bilingual are strongly encouraged to apply.  Strong scheduling experience preferred.


FT Front Desk Coordinator (FDC) needed for multi-specialty outpatient practice in Williamsville.  Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting patients, check in/out, verifying insurances, scheduling appointments, daily copay reports/collecting copays, phone calls, general customer service.  Must have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.  2-3 years' experience in a medical office setting required.  EMR and Healthenet experience preferred.  Experience in general office skills (faxing, copying, etc.). required.


FT Certified Medical Coder/Biller needed for large primary care and specialty practice to analyze and accurately code diagnostic, procedural and/or surgical information that determines Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance payments.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing accurate ICD9/10, CPT and HCPCS coding and reviewing records to ensure that all components such as patient/ record identification, signatures and dates are present.  Will also accurately analyze and consistently follow up on unpaid claims utilizing monthly aging reports, as well as work queues and filing appeals when appropriate to obtain the maximum reimbursement.  HS diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred.  CCS, CCS-P or CPC certification required.  Medical billing and insurance follow-up knowledge is required.  PAID PARKING
