Our specialists are certified in the primary sub-specialties associated with Internal Medicine, specifically:

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Behavioral Medicine @ ECMC Campus) 

Full time administrative assistant needed for Behavioral Medicine Clinic located on the ECMC Campus.  Will be responsible for the operation, function and maintenance of the day-to-day clinical operations, which includes intake and follow-through with patients and supporting the Division Chief and other providers in the clinic.  Duties will also include assisting with correspondence, schedules and presentations, as well as preparing and managing provider schedules.  Will answer phones and coordinate any patient schedules needed.  Will conduct check in/check out of patients and ensure demographics, insurance, etc. are up to date.  Will manage requests for medical records following mental health guidelines.  High School diploma with more than 5 years' administrative support experience, preferably in a clinic setting.  Associate's degree preferred.  Excellent communication, multi-tasking and detail-oriented skills required.  Medical terminology preferred.

 

HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST (Amherst)

Full time HR Generalist needed to support all human resources activities including benefits administration, job descriptions, leave management, employee relations, recruitment and employee inquiries/concerns.  Will be primary contact for benefits administration including open enrollment process.  Responsible for assisting with employee relations issues including investigating concerns, coaching employees, corrective actions and performance improvement plans.  Responsible for employee separation process, managing various payroll-related actions, scanning personnel files and assisting with recruitment efforts.  Will assist the Director of HR with various projects as needed, including job descriptions and policies/procedures.  Minimum Associate’s degree with 5 years’ experience required.  Will consider no degree with more than 10 years’ experience in HR.  Experience with benefits administration strongly preferred.  Experience in Paychex HRIS preferred.  Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and attention-to-detail skills required.

 

 
LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - FLOAT

Full-time LPN needed to travel between various outpatient clinics located on downtown Buffalo medical campus, at ECMC and Youngs Road (off of Maple) in Williamsville.  Must be able to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative and be adaptable to varying situations.  Strong clinical knowledge required.  EMR experience required.  Prior outpatient clinic experience preferred.  Must possess a valid driver's license and be currently registered with NYS as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

 

 

 

ADMINISTRATIVE FLOAT

Full time administrative float needed for outpatient clinical sites.  Will be expected to assist in medical records, front desk and call center as well as any other administrative needs the company/clinics may have.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scanning/filing, check in/out, checking insurance/ demographics, appointment scheduling, heavy phones and copayments.  Experience in clinic-based call center or front desk position preferred.  Minimum 2-3 years of medical office experience required.  EMR experience required.  MA/MOA candidates encouraged to apply!  Valid NYS driver's license that meets company driving standards required.

 

CLINIC ADMINISTRATOR (Downtown Buffalo)

Full Time Clinic Administrator for busy outpatient clinic at the Conventus Center for Collaborative Medicine in the downtown Buffalo medical campus. Will plan, coordinate and oversee patient services and clinical activities of the clinic. Will be responsible for supervision of clinic staff including management of day-to-day clinical activities. Will work closely with the Director of Clinical Operations on creating standardization of policies, procedures and workflows.  Registered Nurse preferred, but will consider Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or MBA.  Minimum of 5-6 years’ nursing, clinical or management experience, preferably in a clinic setting. Supervisory experience required. Excellent multi-tasking, communication and organization skills required.  EMR experience preferred. PCMH experience preferred.

 

MEDICAL ASSISTANT - CALL CENTER (Williamsville)

Full time MA needed for busy specialty medical practice call center.  Will answer incoming calls in a professional/courteous manner at all times.  Must be able to distribute the calls to appropriate clinics or handle independently.  Will deliver strong customer service to every caller.  Must have above average customer service and communication skills.  Minimum 2-3 years' customer service experience, preferably in a call center and/or health care setting.  Medical Assistant experience is preferred but will consider others with call center experience.  Candidates who are bilingual are strongly encouraged to apply.  Must be able to work independently.  Strong scheduling experience preferred.

 
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Chief Operating Officer needed to manage the day-to-day clinical operations of the organization. The COO assists the CEO in the aggressive and successful growth of the company and will be responsible for developing/implementing strategic and business initiatives that are aligned with the goals of the organization. The COO will provide leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and systems in place to effective grow and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. Will review and monitor areas in need of improvement and make recommendations for corrective action. The COO will lead collaborative efforts with other health care/hospital partners on all clinical integration initiatives, as well as provide oversight and guidance to outpatient clinic operations, hospitalist medicine, marketing, information technology, human resources, revenue cycle, business and finance operations. Master’s degree in Health Care Administration (preferred) or Business Administration.  Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years’ experience in health care management will be considered. Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in outpatient clinical operations required. Expertise in revenue cycle operations in a physician practice essential. Excellent organizational and communication skills required, as well as proficiency in problem-solving/analytical skills. Must demonstrate visionary leadership, change management and financial acumen.
Licensed Practical Nurse (Downtown Buffalo) 
Full Time LPN needed for downtown primary/pediatric and specialty care clinic at Conventus. Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and show initiative in a team environment. Can expect to work with multiple disciplines including pediatrics. EMR experience required. Minimum of 2 years' experience in outpatient setting preferred. Valid NYS LPN license required. FRONT DESK COORDINATOR (Downtown Buffalo)
Full time Front Desk Coordinator needed for downtown Buffalo primary care/specialty clinic at Conventus. Responsible for checking in/out patients, verifying insurance/demographics, collecting co-payments. Knowledge of insurance verifications helpful. Knowledge of  EMR system required.
