UBMD Internal Medicine is one of 18 medical practices in the UBMD Physicians’ Group. Our physicians are internists first, certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine to treat adult patients. Our specialists are certified in the primary sub-specialties associated with Internal Medicine, specifically:

FT Medical Assistant (MA) needed to work at various outpatient sleep medicine clinics throughout the Buffalo and surrounding area.  Position will be based in Williamsville, but required to travel to downtown Buffalo and Batavia.  Responsible for rooming patients, taking vitals, utilizing EMR system, prior authorizations, DME ordering.  Will be expected to assist in other areas when not dedicated to Sleep Medicine.  Clinical and front-end experience required.  Excellent communication and organizational skills required.  Experience supporting multiple providers in a variety of settings preferred.  EMR experience required.  Experience in sleep medicine or pulmonology preferred.  Must have a valid NYS driver's license that meets company insurance standards.



FT Medical Assistant (MA) needed for busy Nephrology office located at ECMC.  Duties primarily include, but are not limited to, check in/out, insurance eligibility checks and prior authorizations, booking of procedures and scheduling appointments/referrals, scanning and patient phone calls.  The MA will also assist with rooming of patients as needed.  Schedule is Monday-Thursday at ECMC and Fridays at Williamsville or downtown Buffalo clinic.  Qualified candidates should have outstanding customer service and verbal/written communication skills.  Clinical skills, EMR and scheduling experience, as well as medical terminology required. 1-2 years' experience in an office setting preferred.  Must be open to traveling to other sites as needed.  Current NYS driver's license that meets the company's insurance standards required.



FT APP (Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant) for Infectious Diseases and Primary care at ECMC.  Will work independently to provide assessments and chronic disease management of patients as related to ID, as well as other clinical duties as assigned.  Must be a graduate of an accredited NP/PA program and have current NYS license, DEA and Board Certification. Infectious disease experience preferred, minimum of 5 years in primary care can be substituted . EMR experience required. Must have ability to work independently, be flexible, demonstrate judgment and initiative while operating during demanding situations.



Front Desk Coordinators (FDC) needed for Conventus (downtown Buffalo) and Williamsville locations.  See schedules below.  Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting patients, check in/out, verify insurances, schedule appointments, daily copay reports/collect copays, general customer service.  Must have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.   2-3 years' experience in medical office required, EMR and Healthenet experience required, general office skills (faxing, copying, etc.) required.

→Part time at Conventus outpatient clinic - 1 day/week (Monday or Friday - with flexibility to cover on other days when needed & other sites as needs arise)

→Part time at Conventus outpatient clinic - 3 days/week rotating week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday one week, Monday, Tuesday, Friday the next week - all 9:30-5:30 shifts)

→Full time at Williamsville clinic - Monday through Friday day schedule
